๐Ÿ“Š Media Overview

Consolidated campaign performance dashboard combining 1P media data and 3P market intelligence across Performance Funnel, Summary, Trends, and Spends Distribution.

Overview

Media Overview is Reviniti's consolidated campaign performance dashboard. It brings platform data (1P) and market intelligence (3P) together on a single page โ€” so you can assess how your campaigns are performing, where your spend is going, and how your brand is performing in the market, without switching between dashboards.

Two types of data appear throughout the dashboard โ€” 1P metrics (platform-derived media data) and 3P metrics (market intelligence, marked with a โšก icon wherever they appear).

Dashboard Filters

Media Overview is a single scrollable view โ€” Performance Funnel โ†’ Performance Summary โ†’ Performance Trends โ†’ Spends Distribution. The filters and toggles at the top of the page control what data is shown across every section.

a. Scope Filters

Define what you are analysing โ€” the channel, account, and portfolio slice.

  • Channel โ€” Select the platform being analysed (e.g. Blinkit, Zepto, Amazon). Available ad types and filters adjust based on channel
  • Account โ€” Scopes all data to the selected account's campaigns
  • Categories / Sub Categories / Brands โ€” Click any counter to open the filter panel and narrow data to specific categories, subcategories, or brands

b. Time Range

  • Date Range โ€” Set the primary date window. A comparison period is shown below it, used to calculate โ–ฒ / โ–ผ change indicators on every metric card

c. Value Basis Toggles

Control how the numbers are calculated โ€” price basis and share basis.

  • MRP / SP โ€” Switch the sales value basis between Maximum Retail Price and Selling Price. Affects all 3p metrics on the page
  • By Value / By Volume โ€” Switch the basis for market share and SOV metrics between revenue share and units share

โ„น๏ธ  These are global filters โ€” they apply to every section at once. Some sections have their own independent filters that override the global section for that section only. These are called out in the relevant section below.

๐Ÿšง Heads up

Some features and functionalities described on this page are still rolling out. If you don't see something in the UI yet, it's on the way - stay tuned.

1. Performance Funnel

The Performance Funnel is the at-a-glance health check at the top of Media Overview. It uses a three-stage structure โ€” Input, Efficiency, Output โ€” to answer the three fundamental questions about your campaigns in sequence. Each stage surfaces both media metrics (1P) and market metrics (3P โšก) side by side, so you can see how your spend and efficiency translate into market-level outcomes.

Stage Question Media Metrics (1P) Market Metrics (3P โšก)
Input How much did you spend? Ad Spends, Ad Sales, Total Ad Sales Total Sales โšก, Market Share โšก
Efficiency How efficiently was it spent? RoAS, TroAS, ACoS, CPC/CPM -
Output What did it deliver in market? Impressions, Clicks, Orders Paid SoV โšก, Overall SOV โšก, Organic SOV โšก, Wt. Availability โšก

a. Primary Metric Cards

Three large cards sit at the top of the funnel โ€” one for each stage. Each card shows a headline value, a sparkline, and a change vs the comparison period.

Ad Spends (Input) Total ad spend for the period. Sub metrics: Ad Sales (revenue attributed to ads), Total Ad Salesโšก (total platform sales, organic + paid), Market Shareโšก (your brand's share of total category sales)
RoAS (Efficiency) Return on Ad Spend โ€” rupees of ad sales per rupee spent. Sub-metrics: TRoAS (includes organic revenue), ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales %), AOV (Average Order Value)
Paid SoV โšก (Output) Percentage of total paid ad impressions your brand captured in the market. Sub metrics: Overall SOVโšก (paid + organic combined), Organic SOVโšก (organic search only), Wt. Availabilityโšก(weighted stock availability)

b. Secondary Metric Cards

Below the three primary cards sit Impressions, Clicks, and Orders โ€” the volume-level context for the funnel.

  • Impressions - Total ad impressions, with a bar chart of volume trend
  • Clicks - Total clicks. Sub-metrics: CPC (Cost Per Click), CTR (Click-Through Rate)
  • Orders - Total orders attributed to ads. Sub-metrics: CVR (Conversion Rate), AOV (Average Order Value)

2. Performance Summary

Performance Summary is a tabular breakdown of campaign performance across four dimensions โ€” from brand, category, and subcategory aggregates down to individual campaigns, keywords, and products. Each dimension lives in its own tab.

Every tab supports search, column sorting, and export. Most importantly, every tab has a column selector (the grid icon in the top-right of the table) that lets you pick which 1P and 3P metrics you want to see โ€” columns are not fixed, so you can show only what's relevant for the question you're answering.

a. Aggregated View

The Aggregated View is your default landing tab โ€” you land on the Subcategory view by default. It rolls up both 1P media performance and 3P market data side by side, so you get a holistic view of how each subcategory is performing.

By default, the table shows Ad Spends and ROAS under Media Intelligence, and Paid SOV, Market Share, Wt. Availability, and Avg Price under Market Intelligence. You can add or remove any 1P or 3P column using the column selector in the top-right.

Click the Subcategory dropdown next to the search bar to switch the grouping to Category, Brand, or Custom Campaign Tags โ€” the table updates instantly.

๐Ÿ“Œ  An "Unmapped" row may appear when campaigns are not mapped to a category. This is expected behaviour and does not indicate a data error.

b. Campaign Analysis

Performance at the individual campaign level โ€” use this tab to evaluate how specific campaigns are executing against your spend and efficiency targets.

By default, the table shows Spends, Sales, CPM, and ROAS. Use the column selector to add other 1P metrics (ACoS, Orders, CTR, CPC, CVR, AOV, Impressions, Clicks) or 3P market intelligence columns (Paid SOV, Organic SOV, Overall SOV) to bring market context alongside your campaign data.

c. Keyword Analysis

Performance at the individual keyword level. Use this tab to understand which keywords drive visibility, clicks, and orders โ€” and how your paid presence compares organically.

By default, the table shows Sales, Spends, ROAS, CPM, and Search Volume under Media Intelligence, with Paid SOV, Organic SOV, and Overall SOV under Market Intelligence. Use the column selector to add or remove columns as needed.

d. Product Analysis

Performance at the individual product (SKU) level. Each row includes the product image thumbnail and full product name so you can identify items quickly.

By default, the table shows Sales, Total Sales, Spends, ROAS, ACoS, Orders, and CTR under Media Intelligence, with Overall SOV, Market Share, Wt. Availability, and Avg Price under Market Intelligence. Use the column selector to add or remove columns as needed.

๐Ÿ’ก The Product Analysis table can contain thousands of SKUs. Use the search bar to locate specific products rather than scrolling through the full list

3. Performance Trends

Performance Trends lets you plot any two metrics against each other over time โ€” one on the left Y-axis, one on the right โ€” to see how they move in relation to each other. Both metric dropdowns can pull from 1P media metrics and 3P market intelligence, so you can compare within a data type (e.g. Ad Spends vs Ad Sales) or across data types (e.g. Ad Spends vs Market Share, Impressions vs Overall SOV) to spot how your media activity is translating into market outcomes.

A correlation value is calculated automatically for the two selected metrics over the selected period, quantifying how closely they move together โ€” or in opposite directions.

a. Available Metrics

Both Metric 1 and Metric 2 dropdowns support:

  • 1P metrics โ€” Ad Spends, Ad Sales, RoAS, ACoS, AOV, Impressions, Clicks, Orders, CPC, CTR, CVR, CPM
  • 3P metrics โšก โ€” Paid SOV, Organic SOV, Overall SOV, Market Share, Wt. Availability, Total Sales

You cannot pick the same metric for both axes โ€” the UI prevents duplicates.

b. Time Range & Granularity

  • Time range โ€” 7, 30, 90, or 180 Days, or a custom range
  • Granularity โ€” Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. Controls how data points are bucketed on the X-axis

c. Correlation Indicator

The correlation value (e.g. "Correlation: 0.42 ยท Moderate Positive") appears to the right of the metric dropdowns. Use it to validate whether two metrics are moving as you'd expect.

Indicator Range What it means
๐ŸŸข  Green 0.50 to 1.00 Strong Positive - both metrics move up and down together in close alignment
๐ŸŸข  Green 0.10 to 0.50 Moderate Positive - noticeable tendency to move in the same direction, but not tightly
โšช  Grey -0.10 to 0.10 Weak Correlation - metrics move largely independently
๐Ÿ”ด  Red -0.50 to -0.10 Moderate Negative - tend to move in opposite directions with some consistency
๐Ÿ”ด  Red -1.00 to -0.50 Strong Negative - consistently move in opposite directions. Strong inverse relationship

๐Ÿ’ก Use correlation to validate hypotheses fast. Ad Spends vs Market Share showing  Strong Positive means your media investment is directly driving share. A Weak or Negative correlation between metrics you expected to move together is worth investigating - it may indicate a campaign efficiency issue

d. Section-Specific Filter: Category

Performance Trends has its own independent Category filter โ€” separate from the global. Use it to analyse a specific category's trend without changing the category selection for other sections. The "Unmapped" option is included.

4. Spends Distribution

Spends Distribution shows you how your ad spend is being split โ€” across keyword intent (Branded, Generic, Competition) and across ad formats (Performance, Reach). Use this widget to understand your spend mix at a glance, see which targeting strategies you're leaning on, and spot whether your format mix is delivering the efficiency you expect.

This widget uses 1P metrics throughout, organised into three tabs.

a. Ad Spends Distribution

The default view. Two charts side by side that together answer "where is my money going, and what's it returning?" Use it to see your spend mix by keyword intent and by ad format on a single screen, with efficiency context layered on top.

Charts shown:

  • By Target Type (donut) โ€” Splits total spend across Generic (broad category searches), Competition (rival brand searches), and Branded (your brand name). Each slice shows percentage share
  • By Ad Type (bar + line) โ€” Spend broken down by ad format (e.g. Performance vs Reach), with a ROAS line overlay on top of the bars. The overlay lets you see which ad types deliver the best return relative to their spend

โ„น๏ธ  This tab uses the global date range โ€” no additional filters. The RoAS overlay on the right chart is the only 3P element in this tab

b. By Target Type

A multi-line trend chart showing how spend has moved over time across the three keyword intent types โ€” Generic, Competition, and Branded. Use it to see whether your targeting mix is shifting, and whether that shift is intentional.

Controls:

  • Metric dropdown โ€” Ad Spends, Ad Sales, Clicks, Impressions, Orders
  • Time range โ€” 7 Days up to 180 Days, or custom
  • Granularity โ€” Daily, Weekly, or Monthly

c. By Ad Type

A multi-line trend chart showing spend over time broken down by ad format (Performance, Reach, and any other formats supported by the channel). Use it to track how your format mix has evolved and whether a shift toward one format is delivering the return you expected.

Controls:

  • Metric dropdown โ€” Ad Spends, Ad Sales, Clicks, Impressions, Orders
  • Time range โ€” 7 Days up to 180 Days, or custom
  • Granularity โ€” Daily, Weekly, or Monthly

โ„น๏ธ   The By Target Type and Ad Type tabs support 1P metrics only. No 3P market intelligence data is available in the metric dropdown for these tabs

Notes

  • Media Overview is an upgrade to Performance Overview โ€” all existing 1P metrics continue to work, now alongside 3P market intelligence, AI Insights, and deeper drilldowns across campaigns, keywords, and products. Performance Overview will be retired in the coming weeks.
  • The โšก icon always marks 3P market intelligence metrics. 1P metrics come from your ad platform; 3P metrics come from external market data sources.
  • Global filters (Channel, Account, Categories/Sub Categories/Brands, Date Range, MRP/SP, By Value/Volume) apply to every widget at once. Section-specific filters โ€” Ad Type in the Performance Funnel, Category in Performance Trends โ€” override the global only within that section.
  • In Performance Summary, columns are not fixed โ€” every tab has a column selector in the top-right. Start with the defaults and add or remove 1P/3P columns based on the question you're answering.
  • For Blinkit, product-level media (1P) data is not available โ€” Blinkit does not expose SKU-level ad performance. In the Product Analysis tab, only 3P market intelligence columns will populate for Blinkit products.
