In this step, you configure the core attributes that define how your campaign will run — including campaign type, keyword strategy, targeting, budgets, and structure. Each option adds flexibility while keeping the workflow easy and guided.
4.1 Choose Campaign Type
Select the type of campaign you want to create:
- Product Booster Campaign (currently available)
- Recommendation Ads (coming in a future release)
This defines the ad format and placement for the campaign.
4.2 Choose Keyword Types
Pick the keyword types you want to use in this campaign row.
You can choose one or multiple types:
- BCG Keywords
- Custom Keywords
- Category Targeting
- Negative Keywords
If multiple keyword types are selected, the system automatically creates an appropriate single or multiple campaign structure based on your selection logic (covered in 4.7)
4.3 Add Keyword Targets
After selecting the keyword types, click “Add Targets” to open the Keyword Selector popup.
Inside the popup, you can perform the following actions:
1. Add BCG Keywords
Select from platform-recommended keywords enriched with key data points:
- Search Volume
- Organic SOV
- Paid SOV
- Organic Rank
- Paid Rank
This helps you pick high-opportunity keywords confidently.

2. Apply Autosuggest Budgets
Bulk-apply bidding rules :
- Suggested Minimum
- Suggested Maximum
- Mandatory Minimum
Useful for faster, consistent bidding across large sets of keywords.

3. Add Custom Keywords
Add your own keywords (not suggested by Blinkit) and assign custom budgets.

4. Add Negative Keywords
Exclude keywords you do not want your ads to trigger for

5. Add Category Targeting
Add category taregtting and assign CPM bids for broader, discovery-driven reach.

4.4 Add City Targets
Choose the cities where your ads should run.
You can:
- Select individual cities, regions, or tiers
e.g., Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad
- Switch to the Cohort Tab to create grouped selections
e.g., Mumbai + Delhi + Hyderabad as one cohort
A cohort is created automatically when two or more locations of the same category are selected.
This lets you tailor campaigns by geography or cluster.

4.5 Add Time slots (Coming Soon)
In the upcoming release, you’ll be able to define day-parting schedules to deliver your ads during specific hours or day ranges.
4.6 Add Selection Budget
Set the budget for this specific campaign row.
If this row generates multiple campaign combinations (e.g., multiple cohorts × keyword types), the system automatically distributes the budget across all resulting campaigns.
4.7 Choose Campaign Structure Type
Select how campaigns should be generated:
1. Single
All selections (keywords, cohorts, products) combine into one campaign.
2. Multiple
The system creates multiple campaigns by breaking down the selections.
Example:
If you choose:
- 2 Cohorts
- 2 Keyword Types
- Structure = Multiple
The system automatically creates 4 campaigns (2 × 2)
